  • Don’t Go Into the Holidays Without a Plan!

Every year, the holiday season sneaks up on us faster than we think. One minute it’s pumpkin spice latte’s and cozy sweaters… and the next, you’re surrounded by office candy bowls, holiday parties, rich dinners, extra cocktails, and endless baked goods.

    It’s fun…until it’s not.

    Because here’s the truth:
Most people enter the holidays with zero strategy.
No plan. No boundaries. No support system.

And that’s when things start to unravel.

    Gym sessions get skipped.
    Late nights become the norm.
    Energy plummets.
    Healthy habits fade.

And by the time January 1st arrives, instead of feeling refreshed, most people feel frustrated, facing the dreaded holiday weight gain (fact: the average person gains up to 10 pounds…yikes!).

But this year CAN be different.

    You can enjoy the holidays.
    You can stay consistent.
You can go into January feeling strong, not defeated.

All you need is a plan.

The No. 1 Reason People Struggle During the Holidays: They Don’t Have a Plan

When you don’t have a plan, the season controls you.
When you do have a plan, you stay in control.

A good holiday plan doesn’t have to be complicated, it just has to be intentional and realistic.

Below is a simple structure you can start using today.

    🎄 Your Holiday Survival Plan

    1. Non-Negotiables (Pick 3)

These are the habits you protect no matter what.
    Choose three and commit.

    Examples:

    • 30 minutes of movement 4–5 days a week
    • A protein-focused first meal
    • Water before every holiday drink
    • 8,000–10,000 steps
    • No “grazing” on office candy bowls
    • Lights out by 10pm on weeknights

These anchor you during the chaos.

    2. Pre-Plan Your Weak Spots

Look at your next 6-8 weeks:

    • Office parties
    • Family dinners
    • Travel
    • Cookie swaps
    • Social events

    Then decide ahead of time:

    • What will you eat first? (Hint: protein + veggies)
    • How many drinks will you have?
    • Will you walk before or after the event?

Decisions made before the moment equal better outcomes in the moment.

    3. Use Supportive Tools (This Is Where Peptides Come In…and, I swear by them)

You don’t have to rely on willpower alone, especially during the most tempting season of the year.

Bioactive peptides offer science-backed support to help your body stay balanced, energized, and regulated.

    ✅ Lean — “Nature’s Ozempic”

Controls cravings, steadies appetite, and reduces overeating triggers.

    ✅ Hydrated — All-Day Electrolyte + Hydration Support

Winter = dehydration. Hydrated keeps your energy steady and inflammation down.

    ✅ Fit — Daily Metabolic + NAD+ Support

Boosts energy, lowers cortisol, and supports recovery, exactly what your body needs during holiday stress.

    Together, these three give you:

    • Less inflammation
    • Better metabolic balance
    • Fewer cravings
    • More energy
    • Better hydration
    • Controlled stress response

A huge advantage during a season of indulgence.

    4. Build Your Week Around Movement (Not the Other Way Around)

Instead of “fitting in workouts,” schedule them first:

    Sample weekly structure:

    • 2 strength training sessions
    • 1 conditioning/cardio session
    • 2 walks (30–45 minutes)
    • Optional: 1 recovery day (stretching or yoga)

Movement keeps your metabolism active and your mindset strong.

    5. Create a Few Go-To Holiday Strategies

    Here are simple, doable tools:

    ✅ Before a party:

    • Drink a full glass of water
    • Eat protein at home
    • Take Lean to avoid overeating

    ✅ At the party:

    • 1 plate — no grazing (so take only what you really want)
    • Start with protein & veggies
    • Alternate alcohol with Hydrated (another fave is sparkling water with a splash of cranberry)

    ✅ The day after:

    • Walk 20–30 minutes
    • Hydrated in the morning
    • Prioritize protein
    • Get back to routine (no guilt spiral!)

These tiny habits prevent big regrets.

You Can Enjoy the Holidays AND Feel Good In Your Body

You don’t have to choose between fun and health.
You just need a strategy that supports both.

With a simple plan, supportive habits, and game-changing tools like Fit, Lean, and Hydrated, you can:

    ✅ stay in control
    ✅ feel energized
    ✅ stay consistent
    ✅ reduce stress
    ✅ avoid holiday weight gain
    ✅ hit January feeling READY

Don’t wait until New Year’s to get serious.
Start now, and let this be the season you thrive, not just survive.

  • Ghosting: The Invisible Sabotage of Trust & Respect

I was creating content for my marketing business when I found myself diving into a topic that’s been on my mind for a while: ghosting. Not the dating kind, but the kind that happens in business and life, when someone simply disappears instead of responding, following up, or having the hard conversation.

It struck me that this is something we don’t talk about enough, especially as entrepreneurs, leaders, and professionals navigating fast-paced, emotionally charged spaces. So I thought I’d dive in here and open the door for thought and conversation.

    The Real Problem with Ghosting

We live in a culture of instant gratification and constant notifications, but ghosting has become alarmingly normalized. However, what may feel like an “easy out” in the moment actually causes long-term harm.

When you ghost someone, whether it’s a potential client, business partner, vendor, or even a friend, you’re not just avoiding discomfort. You’re sending a message (whether you realize it or not) that their time, effort, or relationship wasn’t worth a response.

And trust me, that message sticks.

    Why It Matters in Business

Business is personal. Relationships are the currency of any business, and the way we show up, or don’t, directly impacts our reputation and personal brand.

Whether you’re saying “yes,” “no,” or “not right now,” clarity is a form of respect. People remember how you communicate when things aren’t easy more than they remember the smooth moments.

Here’s what happens when we DON’T ghost:

    • We build trust, even when we say no.
    • We protect our reputation and brand integrity.
    • We make space for the right opportunities to flow in.
    • We model healthy boundaries without disappearing.

    Why It Matters in Life

Ghosting doesn’t just show up in business. It can show up in friendships, family, and even the way we relate to ourselves. When we get overwhelmed or uncomfortable, it’s tempting to pull back instead of leaning in.

But here’s the truth: Discomfort is not a reason to disappear. It’s a sign to pause, reflect, and communicate with care.

The Bigger Picture: Boundaries ≠ Ghosting

Sometimes we confuse boundaries with avoidance. Setting a boundary might mean declining a project or stepping back from a relationship, but it still involves communication. Ghosting skips that step entirely and leaves people confused, hurt, or doubting their worth.

You don’t need to over-explain or over-justify. A simple response can be both kind and firm.

    Try these:

    • “Thanks for thinking of me, but I’m not available for this opportunity.”
    • “I need to step away from this relationship, and I wish you well.”
    • “Right now isn’t the right time for me, but I appreciate your message.”

    Let’s Normalize Showing Up

I believe communication is a core part of conscious living and working. We’re not here to ghost our way through the hard parts, but rather we’re here to build something better. That means responding. Being honest. Choosing clarity over comfort.

You don’t have to be perfect. Just present.

Have you ever been ghosted in business, or accidentally ghosted someone yourself? What did you learn from it?

  • The Power of Consistency: How Small Daily Habits Transformed My Wellness

Let’s talk about something that doesn’t get the spotlight it deserves: CONSISTENCY. It doesn’t get the love it deserves. It’s not flashy, it’s not sexy, and it’s definitely not what we want to hear… but it’s what actually gets results.

In a world full of “quick fixes”, overnight transformations, self-proclaimed Instagram influencers, it’s easy to forget that real change, the kind that lasts, comes from the small choices we make every single day. It’s not about doing everything perfectly. It’s about showing up, over and over, even when it’s hard.

I learned this the hard way earlier this year when I had ankle surgery.

My Personal Journey Back to Strength

Before surgery, I was incredibly active, always on the trails, in the gym, always moving. But suddenly, I was forced to slow down. I couldn’t do the workouts I loved, and it took a toll not just on my body, but on my mindset too.

That’s when I leaned fully into getting consistent with my nutrition, peptides, and prioritizing sleep. I had been using bioactive peptides beforehand, but this time, I made it non-negotiable. Every morning: Fit, Lean, and Hydrated, the Metabolic Collection. (Listen, I’m not out here just trying to push something I don’t believe in, I’m out here sharing natural, effective alternatives designed and engineered for the human body.)

And guess what? I started noticing real changes:

    • FIT helped me maintain muscle mass while I was less active. I didn’t feel like I was losing all my strength, and when I returned to movement, my recovery felt smoother.
    • LEAN supported my metabolism and helped balance my energy, even though my physical activity had drastically changed.
    • HYDRATED kept my body fueled at the cellular level. Proper hydration helped reduce inflammation and supported my recovery.

It wasn’t a magic pill, but paired with consistency, these peptides were game-changing. They helped me bounce back faster, with more clarity, energy, and strength than I expected. Oh, my surgeon was fully onboard with ingestible peptides, that was HUGE for me!

For the Women Entering a New Season of Life

If you’re a woman heading into perimenopause or menopause, you might be feeling the shift already: the brain fog, fatigue, stubborn weight, mood changes, or a general sense that something feels “off.”

You’re not imagining it. Hormonal shifts during this time can be overwhelming, but there are tools that can help.

That’s where the power of bioactive peptides come in.

These aren’t just for gym-goers or athletes. They’re for the woman who’s juggling work, family, and health, and wants to feel like herself again.

Peptides like Fit and LEAN support hormonal balance, improve cognitive function, boost metabolism, and help you build and maintain lean muscle, which becomes harder as estrogen starts to decline. And HYDRATED? Think of it as the unsung hero. When your cells are properly hydrated, everything works better…your skin, your brain, your energy levels.

It’s the Little Things That Add Up

I’m not suggesting you need to overhaul your entire life tomorrow. Start with one thing. Get to bed earlier. Take your peptides each morning. Go for that walk. Commit to a tech break for an hour every day. Drink the extra water. Read for 30 minutes. Reach out to someone in your community and have a real conversation.

The truth is, consistency wins over intensity every time. Whether you’re recovering from surgery like I was, trying to lose a few pounds, build strength, or simply feel better in your skin, the magic is in the everyday effort.

So here’s your reminder: progress doesn’t come from perfection. It comes from the daily commitment to take care of yourself, even in the smallest of ways. Even if that means doing it in the carpool lane dropping your kids off!

You’ve got this. And I’m cheering you on, every step of the way.

  • 10 Things I’m Loving Right Now (Plus a Bonus!)

There’s something about this season that’s got me leaning deeper into the simple, everyday things that make me feel grounded, energized, and truly well. Maybe it’s the shift in weather, or celebrating six months post-surgery, or just the natural pause that comes mid-year, but I’ve been paying more attention to what supports me physically, mentally, and emotionally.

From nourishing wellness staples that help me feel my best, to little luxuries in my daily routine (hello, shower favorites and skincare treats), and even the comfort foods that bring joy to my kitchen, I’ve rounded up 10 (okay, 11!) things I’m absolutely loving right now. Each one is a small reminder that wellness doesn’t have to be complicated to be powerful.

BTW, Many of these faves apply to both women and men!

    1. Strength Training 💪

Lifting weights has become my therapy, my empowerment, and my reset button. Whether it’s in the gym or at home, strength training is helping me build more than muscle…it’s building my confidence and consistency.

Let’s dive into confidence for a hot minute. If you’ve ever felt intimidated walking into the gym, or if you’re currently struggling with those nerves, you’re not alone. It’s completely normal to feel that way, but trust me when I say, it’s absolutely worth working through that discomfort.

Here’s the thing: No one is watching you as closely as you think. And if they are, it’s probably because they’re inspired or looking to help. If anyone is judging you, that’s their issue, not yours. Focus on your journey, because this space is for YOU to grow, not for anyone else to dictate your worth.

    2. FIT by MAKE Wellness 🧬

This peptide-powered supplement has become a non-negotiable part of my daily routine, and for good reason. FIT by Make Wellness supports energy, metabolism, and lean muscle mass, and I can genuinely feel the difference when I take it. It helps me power through my workouts and recover faster.

But the benefits don’t stop there. FIT also helps reduce inflammation, which is a game-changer for joint comfort and overall recovery. It naturally boosts NAD production, which supports cellular health, aging, and energy at the most foundational level. It helps regulate cortisol, the stress hormone that can wreak havoc on your body and mindset.

It’s not just a supplement, it’s a full-body support system that’s helping me feel stronger, more resilient, and more in control of my health. Oh, and it’s super refreshing and the perfect morning drink!

    3. Boka Toothpaste 🦷

Fluoride-free, gentle, and packed with nano-hydroxyapatite (yes, it’s a mouthful), this toothpaste leaves my teeth feeling polished without the harshness. My teeth, gums, and smile are grateful.

    4. Kate McLeod Body Stone 🧴

Part self-care ritual, part skincare essential, this solid moisturizer melts into your skin like butter. It’s clean, luxurious, and makes me want to moisturize daily. It seriously feels soooo good!

    5. Beef Tallow for Skin 😊

I’ve been using high-quality beef tallow not just for cooking, but also for skincare—and let me tell you, it’s a aahhmazing. Rich in vitamins A, D, E, and K, beef tallow is incredibly nourishing for the skin. It closely mimics our skin’s natural oils, which makes it ultra-moisturizing, gentle, and surprisingly non-greasy.

It’s been great for dry patches, supporting skin barrier repair, and giving my skin a smooth, healthy glow without any synthetic ingredients. Plus, it’s free of toxins, fillers, and preservatives, just simple, old-school nourishment that works.

    6. Ballerina Protein Powder 🥛

Don’t let the name fool you, it’s fierce. This is hands down my favorite protein powder. Not only is it packed with clean ingredients, but it also has a smooth texture, great taste, and no weird aftertaste. It’s perfect for shakes or sneaking into my coffee, yogurt, oatmeal, and I’ve even made protein donuts with it, which were delicious.

    7. Counter Mineral Essence 🌟

My skin drinks this up. It’s a lightweight, mineral-rich hydrator that preps my skin and gives it that dewy, balanced look, especially when I’m skipping heavy products during these hotter months.

    8. JUNK Headbands 💦

Functional and fun. These keep the sweat (and the frizz) in check whether I’m hiking trails or in the middle of a strength session. Bonus: the patterns are addictive.

    9. Neutrogena Rainbath Shower Gel

It smells like a spa day…clean, calming, and just right. I look forward to my daily showers (yep, sometimes I take two), and it doesn’t strip my skin. I just added a fresh bottle to my new outdoor shower, and love it!

    10. Eggs, Eggs, Eggs 🥚

Scrambled, hard-boiled, egg salad, soft-poached, I’m in an egg era. Packed with protein, affordable, and endlessly versatile. They’re the real MVP of my kitchen right now. AND, did you know that eggs are great for your skin and hair too?!

    Bonus: Favorite Hiking Shoes 🥾

Topo’s are my go-to for the trails. They’re lightweight yet supportive, with a roomy toe box that lets my feet move naturally. I love the way they balance cushion and ground feel, which makes them perfect for both rugged hikes and casual walks. My feet LOVE these shoes and this brand!

Psst…hop on their mailing list, they have an awesome sale every November!

What are you loving right now? Drop your current obsessions in the comments, I’m always looking for a new fave to try!

  • Mid-Year Isn’t the End—It’s a Reset Point

Can you believe the first half of the year is almost behind us?

It feels like we were just setting intentions in January, mapping out goals, getting organized, and telling ourselves, “This is my year.” And now here we are… staring down the second half of 2025.

Maybe life threw you a curveball. Maybe your priorities shifted. Maybe you just lost momentum (we’ve all been there). That doesn’t mean your goals aren’t still worth pursuing, it just means now’s the time to lock back in.

The second half of the year gives you:

    • 26 weeks of possibility
    • 182 days to make progress
    • Countless chances to show up differently

It’s not about doing more, it’s about doing what matters. With intention. With clarity. With energy that supports where you want to go, not just where you’ve been.

Don’t let yesterday take up too much of today, even more importantly, tomorrow! ~Me

Questions to Ask Yourself Right Now

If you’re not sure where to begin, start here. Carve out 10 minutes and journal these out:

    • What did I want to create or change this year?
    • What progress have I made (even the small wins)?
    • What’s gotten in my way?
    • What needs to shift in the next 6 months?
    • What do I want to feel proud of by the end of the year?

The goal isn’t perfection, it’s alignment. It’s choosing to return to your why, even if the how looks different now.

    Let’s Finish Strong—Together (I’m ready!)

I’ll be sharing more ideas in the coming weeks to help you refocus, reset, and finish the year strong, whether it’s through wellness routines, mindset practices, business clarity, or just showing up for yourself in a more meaningful way.

But for today, here’s what I want you to know: You don’t have to wait for “perfect timing.” You just have to choose to show up now. One step. One shift. One day at a time.

We’re in this together, and there’s still so much room to rise. Below is a list of tools to help you kick some real ass the second half of the year.

    🧠 Mindset & Clarity

    • The Five Minute Journal – Simple daily gratitude and goal-setting
    • Insight Timer or Calm App – Guided meditations and breathwork
    • High Performance Habits by Brendon Burchard – A great read or audiobook for momentum

    📅 Planning & Productivity

    • Google Calendar – For blocking focused work, workouts, or rest
    • Asana – Visual task management (great for business + personal projects)

    💪 Wellness & Energy

    • AllTrails App – For finding trails and staying active outdoors (I can’t live without this one!)
    • Make Wellness Peptides – (of course!) to support energy, focus, hydration & recovery
    • MyFitnessPal – For tracking nutrition and movement goals

    📈 Business & Branding

    • Canva – Create stunning graphics, social posts, and promo content easily
    • Flodesk – Simple, beautiful email marketing (great for small business owners)

    🧾 Reflection & Reset

    • Quarterly Goal Review Template (create your own or download a freebie)
    • Whiteboard or Sticky Notes Wall – Sometimes old-school visuals help new ideas flow (this is totally me!)
    • Spotify “Focus” or “Confidence Boost” Playlists – Because music changes everything

Let’s lock in and finish this year with purpose and intention.

    You with me?

  • The Power of Partnerships & Why Wealth Isn’t Built on One Stream Alone

For most of my adult life, I worked the corporate job and was perfectly fine with it. Fast forward to my more “mature” years, and it’s never been more clear to me that having all your eggs in one basket is a dangerous gamble.

Let’s get something straight: becoming wealthy isn’t about landing one big deal or having one high-paying job. It’s about strategy. It’s about vision. And more than anything, it’s about creating aligned opportunities that multiply your income and impact.

    The Art of the Deal

I’ve been thinking about this concept a lot recently, and realize that deals aren’t just made in boardrooms. They’re made in text threads, coffee shops, and DMs with people who see the same vision. Whether you’re negotiating a brand partnership, launching a new product, or collaborating with someone in a different industry — the best deals come from alignment, not desperation.

Here’s what makes a deal powerful:

    • Mutual value: Both parties win.
    • Clear outcomes: Everyone knows the why, what, and when.
    • Integrity: No smoke and mirrors, just straight-up clarity.
    • Follow-through: The real magic happens after the handshake.

    Collaboration Over Competition

If you want to build something sustainable, do it with people, not in spite of them. I’ve learned that the fastest way to level up is by locking arms with others who bring different strengths to the table. When you share your skills, audience, and energy — everybody grows, and isn’t that what we all want?

Collaboration opens doors you never knew existed. The people in your circle could be your next investors, affiliates, or co-creators. Stay curious, stay humble, and ask: How can we win together?

Millionaire Moves: Multiple Streams of Income

You can’t build a mansion on a single paycheck. Well, most people can’t.

The wealthiest people have at least 3-7 income streams — and they’re not all “big and flashy.” Here’s what counts:

    • Active income (your job, services, consulting)
    • Passive income (investments, digital products, affiliate sales)
    • Residual income (subscriptions, licensing, recurring programs)
    • Equity (ownership in startups or real estate)
    • Brand partnerships (sponsorships or media deals)
    • Speaking, books, or IP (your knowledge turned into assets)
    • Side hustles (projects you can grow or sell later)

It’s not about doing everything at once. It’s not about doing everything perfectly. It’s about being intentional with what you build and diverse in how you earn.

Wealth is a Mindset, Not a Miracle

Start by mastering the art of making deals that feel good, that feel authentic. Build partnerships rooted in trust. Stack your income streams with clarity and courage. I say this all the time, “If not you, than who? If not now, when?”

This is how we build real wealth. Not by grinding harder — but by building smarter.

  • Men’s Mental Health Matters—Let’s Talk About It

June is Men’s Mental Health Month, and this message has been sitting on my heart all month. I’ve put off writing it—maybe because it’s deeply personal, maybe because it’s hard to find the words. But I didn’t want the month to end without sharing.

This isn’t expert advice. This is just a daughter and a cousin speaking from experience.

I lost two incredible men in my life to suicide—my father and my cousin. Two lives gone far too soon, both in silence.

These losses cracked me open. But they also opened my eyes.

    The Silent Struggle

Men are often raised with the belief that showing emotion is weakness—that strength means silence and vulnerability is shameful. This quiet conditioning is dangerous.

According to the CDC, men die by suicide nearly four times more often than women. And yet, so many of them suffer in silence—carrying stress, pain, trauma, and pressure with nowhere to put it.

As women, we’re often the emotional anchors in our families and communities. But are we truly seeing the men in our lives? Are we creating safe, judgment-free spaces for them to speak, cry, or just be human?

    What We Can Do

We can’t fix everything—but we can start by being more aware, more compassionate, and more willing to hold space.

Here are a few simple, powerful ways to support the men around us:

    • Ask twice. If a man says he’s “fine,” gently ask again.
    • Model emotional expression. Share openly—it gives others permission to do the same.
    • Resist the urge to fix. Sometimes, presence matters more than solutions.
    • Encourage therapy and self-care as ongoing support, not just crisis tools.
    • Speak life into them. Affirm their worth, even when they don’t show they need it.
    • Support healthy male friendships and encourage connection through nature, fitness, or community.

    Where Wellness Meets Mental Health

Mental health doesn’t stand alone—it’s woven into every part of our well-being. What we eat, how we sleep, how our bodies recover and regulate hormones… it all matters. Especially for men, who are often expected to just “push through.”

That’s why I take a whole-person approach to wellness. Because men need support for their minds and their bodies.

One of the tools I’ve seen make a real difference—especially for men—is bioactive precision peptides. These naturally occurring protein messengers help the body heal, regulate, and restore itself at a cellular level.

Here’s how they can support men’s mental and physical wellness:

    • Hormone balance: Peptides can support healthy testosterone levels, which impacts mood, energy, and drive.
    • Brain clarity: Improved focus, less brain fog, and better emotional resilience.
    • Physical recovery: Faster muscle and joint recovery from workouts—or stress.
    • Deeper sleep: Vital for mental health and nervous system regulation.
    • Longevity: Peptides support cellular repair, immunity, and overall vitality.

This isn’t about hacks. It’s about giving men the nourishment their bodies and minds need to truly thrive.

If this speaks to you—or someone you love—I’m offering 10% off peptides this month as a small way to support the men in your life. Sometimes, just introducing them to tools that help them feel better is the spark that changes everything.

I invite you to explore my Wellness page or shop directly here. As a thank-you for prioritizing your health, I’ll personally send you 10% back on your purchase (before tax). Have questions or want a personalized recommendation? I’m just a message away.

Resources to Share (and Explore Together)

    My Hope

I will never stop loving the men I lost. But I will start speaking up more in their honor.

If you’re a woman reading this, I hope you’ll join me—not just in raising awareness, but in changing how we show up. Let’s ask better questions. Let’s hold space. Let’s help build softer places for the men in our lives to land.

They deserve to be seen. To be heard. To heal.

And together—we can help them get there.

    With gratitude,

  • Start Scared: Why Fear Doesn’t Mean You’re Not Ready

    I almost didn’t do it.

So many idea(s) lived rent-free in my brain for months—maybe years. A challenging trail race. A new podcast. This blog. A bold business pivot. A launch in an industry completely foreign to me.

Each one, pushed off until I felt “ready.” But every time I got close, that familiar voice whispered:

“Who do you think you are?”
    “What if you fail?”
    “What will people say?”

Sound familiar? Hello, imposter syndrome, right?!

Fear has a way of showing up the moment you’re standing on the edge of something important. It tries to protect you by keeping you small, safe, and stuck. But here’s the truth I’ve learned over and over again: you don’t need to feel fearless to start—you just need to move through the fear anyway. And yes, it’s hard.

    Fear Isn’t a Stop Sign 🛑

We often wait for fear to disappear before we act. But fear doesn’t vanish with time—it quiets down after you start.

The fear of judgment, failure, or looking like a beginner? Those things feel massive—until you do the thing and realize: you survived. You grew. You’re still standing—stronger, actually.

And for every person silently hoping you’ll fail? There are so many more watching and cheering for your success.

And, this might come as a shock…but, no one is thinking about you as much as you think they are. (Seriously.)

    My Turning Point 🌟

My shift came when I stopped tying my worth to the outcome and started attaching it to the action. That—in the space between fear and movement—is where I believe real impact lives.

I realized I could be scared and still be ready.
I could be unsure and still show up.
I could take messy steps and still make progress.

    I launched the podcast.
I took the leap into a new business.
I said yes to the scary things—while my hands were shaking. While the vulnerability felt suffocating, but here I am, alive and kicking. Fear doesn’t kill you, it helps you thrive.

And you know what? Every single time I’ve done that, I’ve met a new version of myself. Or maybe… I just elevated the one that was already there. (You know what I mean.)

What’s Waiting on the Other Side 🚀

When you move past fear, even just a little, you build trust in yourself. You stop outsourcing your power to perfect timing, approval, or guarantees. You start building momentum—and confidence follows.

Yes, fear still shows up. That voice doesn’t disappear. But it gets quieter when action gets louder.

Start Scared. Start Small. Just Start.🔥

You don’t have to launch the whole thing today. Do it in phases if you have to, but you can take the first step. Book the call. Write the page. Post the idea. Say it out loud. LEAN IN!!

The momentum you’re craving? It’s already waiting on the other side of that one brave action.

So here’s your permission slip: You don’t need to be fearless—just brave for 30 seconds.

    I’m cheering for you. Always.

  • Soft Moments, Strong Heart: My Mental Health Story

As Mental Health Awareness Month comes to a close, I wanted to take a moment to share something personal I’ve been learning to navigate—social anxiety.

You might be surprised to hear that from me. I show up, I work hard, I’m driven, I create, I share—and I’m often seen as an extrovert. But behind the highlight reels and daily hustle, there are moments when anxiety creeps in—quietly and powerfully.

❗My anxiety has kept me from joining group runs I genuinely wanted to attend.
❗It’s made me cancel meetings I’d already prepped for.
❗It’s convinced me to skip the gym on days I knew I needed movement.
❗It’s even stopped me from nourishing and hydrating my body when I needed it most.

Social anxiety doesn’t always look like panic—it can look like silence, avoidance, or simply staying small. And if you’ve ever felt that tug-of-war between wanting to show up and feeling frozen by anxiety, you are so not alone.

The Myth of “All or Nothing”

One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is this: life doesn’t have to be all or nothing.
♥️ We can go hard and be soft.
♥️ We can chase goals and take breaks.
♥️ We can lead boldly and still need support.

I haven’t perfected the balance (who has?), but I’m committed to striving for it daily.

What’s Helped Me: From “Just Deal With It” to Calm

For years, I just “dealt with it.” I tried gummies, mild meds, and self-talk that didn’t quite stick. Some days were okay. Some were really hard.

Then I found Calm—a simple, all-natural powder that dissolves on your tongue and gently takes the edge off, without making me feel foggy or tired. It works with your body, not against it.

It’s like a warm hug in the middle of chaos. I take it before meetings, workouts, or whenever I need a reset—but my favorite time is in the evening. It’s been a game-changer.

If you’re navigating stress or social anxiety, I encourage you to explore what works for you. And if you’re curious about Calm—or just want to chat about the real, unfiltered stuff—I’m here.

    Mamas, I See You

My kids are grown now, but I still remember the pressure that came with summer break—keeping everyone busy, managing the chaos, and trying to hold it all together.

If the thought of it already has you feeling stretched thin, you’re not alone.

And if you’re looking for a natural way to stay grounded and ease into the whirlwind of summer, Calm might be exactly what you need.

A study released this month by Columbia University found that 75% of mothers in the U.S. experience some form of mental or physical health challenge. That stat? It’s real—and it’s a reminder that we need tools and support, not just grit.

A Few Resources for Social Anxiety

Because I believe in offering support beyond the scroll, here are a few resources I trust:

    • Anxiety & Depression Association of America (ADAA): adaa.org – Tools, support groups, and therapist directories.
    • Mindfulness Apps: Insight Timer, Headspace, and Calm (the app, not the supplement!) all offer free meditations for anxiety.
    • Books:
      • The Anxiety Toolkit by Dr. Alice Boyes
      • How to Be Yourself by Ellen Hendriksen

    You Are Not Alone

Mental health isn’t a moment—it’s a movement. Whether you’re feeling on top of the world or struggling to leave the house, your experience is valid.

Give yourself grace. Ask for help. Explore what balance looks like for you.

  • Confessions of an Overthinker (Hi, It’s Me 👋)

Hey you! Yeah, you… Are you an overthinker?

I was talking to a friend today — another serial overthinker whose name shall remain confidential (we’ll call her Nancy to protect her identity 😉).

Nancy and I were working on customer follow-ups when we both had an aha moment: shorter, more authentic communication is better for the customer and better for us. And yet… there we were, overthinking it to death. Sound familiar?

Let’s be real — overthinking is exhausting. You replay conversations, second-guess your ideas, delay decisions, and procrastinate on important stuff because… what if it’s not perfect? Cue the sigh. Overthinking feels productive, but it’s actually a master thief — stealing your clarity, confidence, and energy.

Worse? It feeds right into imposter syndrome. So really, what are we doing?!

It’s the fast track to paralysis analysis — too many options, too much pressure, and very little action.

    But here’s the truth bomb:
👉 You don’t need more information. You need more self-trust.
And trust doesn’t come from being perfect — it comes from taking messy, meaningful action.

So let’s break the cycle and talk about how to get out of your head and back into alignment.

    Why We Overthink:

    • Fear of failure – We just want to get it right.
    • Imposter syndrome – We doubt we’re enough.
    • Perfectionism – We think every move must be flawless.
    • People pleasing – We’re afraid of disappointing others.

Spoiler alert: Overthinking doesn’t protect us — it just keeps us stuck.

🔥 The antidote? Think less. Trust more.

10 Pro Tips to Overcome Overthinking + Trust Yourself More

    1. Name the Fear
Get real with yourself: what are you actually afraid of? Naming it takes away its power. Write it down. Say it out loud. Shine a light on it. (Ugh, yes… totally me.)
    2. Try the 5-5-5 Rule
Ask: Will this matter in 5 days, 5 months, or 5 years?
Spoiler: probably not. Let it go.
    3. Set a 10-Minute Timer for Decisions
Your gut usually knows. Give yourself a time limit, listen to your intuition, and go.
    4. Shift from “What If” to “Even If”
Swap “what if I fail?” for “even if I fail, I’ll learn and grow.”
      That’s where real confidence begins.
    5. Take Imperfect Action
Progress > perfection. Every time. People are surprisingly forgiving of imperfection when you’re being real.
    6. Create a Daily “Get Unstuck” Ritual
Walk. Meditate. Dance. Journal. Pray. Voice-record your spiraling thoughts and play them back — they’ll usually sound way less scary than they feel.
    7. Surround Yourself with Action-Takers
Energy is contagious. Hang with people who move forward, trust themselves, and make bold choices. You’ll soak it up.
    8. Cut the Info Overload
More content doesn’t equal more clarity. Unfollow, unsubscribe, and tune back in to your own voice.
    9. Anchor into Your Values
Ask: Is this aligned with who I am and what matters to me? If yes — go. If no — pause.
    10. Celebrate the Tiny Wins
Confidence is built one decision at a time. Track the small stuff. Reflect weekly on what went right, not just what went sideways.

    🌟 Bonus Tip:
Stop using ChatGPT for EVERYTHING. Your voice matters. People want your words, your stories, your quirky brilliance. Use tools to enhance, not replace, your authenticity.

    Final Thought

You’re not here to be perfect. You’re here to be real, honest, and brave. Overthinking won’t get you there — but aligned, imperfect action will.

So the next time you’re spiraling, pause and ask:

“What would I do if I trusted myself completely?”

    Then… do that.

No need to go all in right away — pick a couple of tips to try and ease into the anti-overthinking life. Baby steps, my friend. That’s the vibe I’m going with.

I’d love to hear how you’re breaking the overthinking habit. Drop a comment, and let’s elevate each other.
